Brent Rogers of Iowa holds a BA in Biology and has 32 years of experience in food R&D with Cargill, Inc. As a wild turkey historian, he provides education through speaking and writing. This is his third book, after partnering with George Denka on the Turkey Call and Literature Collector’s Guide in 2023, and then his own Yelp & Gobble, Inc. in 2024.

Danny Ellis of North Carolina attended Gardner Webb University before joining the US Army, where he graduated from the Third Army Drill Sergeant School at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He has been a Real Estate Developer for more than 40 years and holds an interest in a number of other businesses.

Chris McDonald of Nashville, Tennessee, received his BS in Business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Upon graduation, he entered banking and was in charge of commercial real estate lending for the company. He was then a Registered Investment Advisor for 40 years.

Rick Powell of North Carolina has a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of Richmond. He and co-author Danny Ellis purchased a small metals manufacturing business in 2006, developing it into one of the largest in the mid-Atlantic region
